What does the Southgate Civic Club do for you?
- Protects your interests by keeping deed restrictions active and enforceable.
- Represents the neighborhood with city, county, and state governments.
- Interfaces with Rice University and the Medical Center.
- Hosts neighborhood meetings and social events.
- Coordinates maintenance of various common areas of the neighborhood.
How are your membership dues used?
- To enforce the deed restrictions, which sometimes includes legal fees.
- Annual Ice Cream Social, Civic Club meetings, and other social activities.
- Maintenance of certain neighborhood items not maintained by the city.

Southgate Civic Club dues are $95.00 / year per address based on calendar year (January 1st to December 31st). To join the civic club, see payment options below.
